so girls aloud performed their new single ‘untouchable’ on dancing on ice tonight. for those of you who don’t know, dancing on ice is one of those ludicrously popular celebrity challenge shows in the vein of ‘dancing with the stars’ and its progeny – the far better titled – ‘strictly come dancing.’ it was AMAZING. floating on wires, check. OTT ice dancers, check. neon red pedestals, check. nicola front and centre, check. also ‘untouchable’ is a brilliant song. the album edit is over 6 minutes long and it is epic.
being totally honest, i could do without the lame ass ice skaters. and the audience clapping, actually. SIT DOWN. although the whole effect is fantastically absurd.
